Developed with Aaron Gwin!
The Pinner is Kendaās all new dry condition gravity tire. Exclusively developed with Aaron Gwin, the Pinner was done for World Cup tracks like Leogang and Lenzerheide and designed to hold its own against the toughest competitors. The Pinner shines with excellent cornering predictability and particularly high puncture protection. The Pinner is an excellent choice for gravity racers and trail riders alike.
Highlights
- Excellent predictability due to consistent contact patch
- Optimized tread pattern for hard pack, rocky & rooty terrain
- Best-in-class puncture protection with 40% higher protection than comparable tires
- Fast rolling with 16% less rolling resistance than the Kenda Hellkat
- Unique and stand-out topographic design pattern over the sidewalls and tread

More details of the Kenda ATC Pinner
This tire features a similar compound design found in other Kenda gravity tires. The ATC version uses is a dual tread construction with a softer shoulder and a firmer center tread.Ā A high surface area contact ensures maximum traction and stability while the large edges are taking care of maximum braking traction. Ramped center knobs minimize the rolling resistance and a low void pattern maximizes stability and traction. Furthermore sipes bring additional bite when cornering or braking and laterally non-staggered shoulder/center knobs stand for predictability.

Technologies of the Kenda ATC Pinner
The Advanced Trail Casing (ATC) uses an extra layer on the sidewalls and a K-Armor belt under the tread area. K-Armor allows for a tighter weave and the use of less rubber, resulting in a lighter tire and a casing that is supple enough to allow the knobs to flex and form under load, yet still protects from pinch flats or casing tears.
Ā
A hard long lasting and fast rolling rubber (60sA) comprises the center of the tread area, while a softer-tackier should rubber (50sA) completes this binary compound for the versatility of speed and grip off road.
Ā
Saves weight and improves the rolling performance. It also provides an improved flat protection and better air retention.
Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
