The Hope Tech 4 V4 disc brake exceeds once again the performance of the popular predecessor. This achieves the 4-piston brake with improved ergonomics, higher braking force and minimized wear. The brake ratio has been fine-tuned based on real riding data to achieve the best efficiency and the typical precise braking feel. The linear relationship between lever force and brake pressure allows easy and intuitive control of braking performance.

The shape of the has been revised to obtain better ergonomics and provide optimized transmission of braking force. The volume of the reservoir for the brake fluid has been increased thanks to intelligent design work and the height at the same time reduced which makes the whole lever appear more delicate. The stable and practical hinge clamp reduces weight and ensures a secure hold. This contributes among other things to the more universal shift lever integration is possible which also provides better ergonomics in the cockpit.

The lever position and the pressure point of the brake can be easily, precisely and quickly adjusted to individual needs without tools.

Mounted is the caliper post mount and the fluid supply is done by a high-quality plastic line. This has a total length of 1700mm and can be shortened to fit your own bike. This allows the use as a rear brake as well as front brake.
